A key event for Nutrition

The Nutrition For Growth Summit, organized every four years by the host country of the Olympic Games, aims to strengthen the international commitment against malnutrition. In parallel with the event, the Nutrition Solutions Village will bring together the general public, experts, international organizations and private-sector players around concrete initiatives to improve nutrition and health.

An exploration of major nutritional issues

Over three days, six major themes will be addressed:

• Nutrition, health and social protection
• Gender equality
• Transition to sustainable food systems
• Crisis resilience
• Data, artificial intelligence and innovation
• Financing and accountability

A Village open to all

During these 3 days, you can discover and participate in :

• sensory workshops and culinary discoveries, to explore the link between food, health and the environment ;
• innovative production and distribution solutions, embodying the transition to more sustainable food systems;
• interactive activities (games, quizzes, discussions) to encourage young people to embrace the concepts of resilience, solidarity and civic commitment;
• debates and round tables on the challenges of nutrition, encouraging exchanges between experts and those working in the field.

Organized by Expertise France, a subsidiary of Agence Française de Développement (AFD), this village aims to promote sustainable and inclusive nutrition policies.

Nutrition issues are an integral part of the challenges they face on a daily basis, notably through initiatives to support resilient agriculture, and the fight against climate change, which are levers for development on nutrition policies.
