Of course, we all dream of getting away from our confined spaces for a while and going on a hike to stretch our legs. This time, we take you with Helloways to discover the forests and countryside in the Paris region.
Here are our favorites:
Loop of 9,2km - 2h15 of walking. Accessible by RER B, stop "Bures-sur-Yvette
To start, we leave to discover the Fauvettes viaduct, a former railway bridge which will offer you a magnificent view on the valley. You will cross the calm of the forests on the heights of Gometz-le-Châtel.
12.1 km from the train station to the station - 3 hours of walking. Accessible by Transilien line R, stop "Montigny-sur-Loing" or "Nemours St-Pierre".
How about a walk along the water? This time, it is the Loign, this preserved river of Île-de-France, which will accompany your hike. A relaxing stroll along the water and through the fields to Nemours.
Station to station of 32 km - 2 days walk. Accessible by Transilien line R, stop "Melun" or "Fontainebleau - Avon".
This microadventure is well named... How about a little break in the heart of the Fontainebleau forest? 32 km of walking to enjoy nature, far from the stress of the capital. Pines, sandstone blocks and a small village will accompany you from Melun to Fontainebleau.
A 12.4 km loop - 3h30 walk. Accessible by RER D, "La Borne Blanche" stop
On the border of the Île-de-France region, this is a magnificent hike that takes you to the magnificent ponds of Commelle. The fresh air through fields and forests.
Loop of 8,6km - 2h15 of walking. Accessible by Transilien line J, stop "Meulan - Hardricourt".
Here is a small hike accessible with all the family in the heights of Mézy-sur-Seine. Cross pretty little streets before enjoying the panoramas offered by the paths and returning along the Seine.
