Lovers of rollerblades and otherwheeled machines are invited to join the Pari Roller event, for a night-time ride starting at 9.30pm every Friday evening throughout the year. The program starts at Gare Montparnasse, at the bottom of the Tower, on Place Raoul Dautry, where you can admire the capital's most beautiful monuments by night, including the Musée d'Orsay, during a welcome break.
Put on your favorite rollerblades, get on your bike, your scooter or even your skateboard, and enjoy a different kind of atmosphere as you discover Paris, over a distance of almost 22km, until midnight. However, for this night ride, you'll need to be a non-beginner in new forms of mobility, comfortable on your rollerblades without looking for balance, or a master of your machine who knows how to brake! The route does include some technical difficulties, such as cobblestones and descents, and you'll need to be able to get around the city on your own, in complete safety.
For almost 20 years, Pari Roller has been offering supervised Friday evening outings, with different routes each time. Special events are organized on a regular basis, in aid of associations such as Samu social, or to promote and raise awareness of soft mobility during European Weeks. Keep an eye on the website for upcoming rides, with no registration required!
