This Sunday, December 15, 2024, the Parc des Princes plays host toOlympique Lyonnais in what promises to be a colorful encounter. Ligue 1 leaders Paris Saint-Germain will take on the fifth-placed club, but without any supporters, as the Lyonnais have not been allowed into the stadium for safety reasons, as stated in the order issued by the Préfecture de Police.
A new summit match without supporters of either team, as is already the case for matches againstOlympique de Marseille. According to the Préfecture de Police de Paris,"700 to 900 Lyon supporters, including 300 to 500 ultras classified as at risk" were expected to attend, while"the numerous incidents between the various Lyon and Paris supporter structures attest to a very strong historical dispute between the supporters of the two teams".
In addition, police forces will also be mobilized in the afternoon to secure the rugby match between Stade Français and Saracens, just across the road at Stade Jean Bouin. Fortunately, it's possible to see the match without going to the stadium, although tickets are still available for Parisian fans! Make sure you don't miss the match in any of the capital's bars, or at home on DAZN, from 8.45pm.
