Odysséa Paris 2024, the race against breast cancer returns to the Château de Vincennes

In October 2024, we're combining sport and good deeds by taking part in a race to benefit the fight against breast cancer! For its 23rd edition, Odysséa, the race against breast cancer, will be held on Saturday October 5 and Sunday October 6, 2024 at the Château de Vincennes. For over 20 years, Odysséa has raised over 10 million euros for the Gustave Roussy research institute, Europe's leading cancer center.

During the first weekend in October, which marks the start ofPink October, the campaign against breast cancer organized by the Pink Ribbon association, we're running for a good cause! Because while research is making progress in the field of breast cancer, there's still a long way to go... Every year, 59,000 more women are diagnosed with the disease. Although breast cancer is one of the best-treated cancers in France, prevention and awareness campaigns must continue .

Please note a few precautions before registering: a medical certificate is required for the 10 km timed race. Please note that you can pick up your race number and T-shirt at Décathlon Paris Wagram (8th arrondissement), from September 30 to October 4.

If you can't make this special weekend, but still want to run for a good cause, good news: you can take part in the connected distance races. From September 30 to October 13, thanks to the Odysséa mobile application, you can run for 5 or 10 kilometers, and do your bit for the cause.

In addition to the races scheduled for this special weekend from the Château de Vincennes, the Odysséa Village will be hosting a variety of events, from a 1km children's run called "Je cours pour Maman", to a Zumba Solidaire.

• Cheque presentation: 10:30 am

In 2023, 278,000 kilometers were covered by these sportsmen and women, and 805,000 euros were raised for cancer research. This year, the target is 270,000 kilometers. On your marks, get set, run!
