Located in the Val-de-Marne region, 15 kilometers from Vincennes, the Domaine de Grosbois is Europe's largest training center for trotting horses. It can accommodate up to 1,500 horses and is used to train them for national and international trotting races, including the Enghien meetings in summer and Vincennes in winter. For almost an hour, follow your guide and discover where the world's best horses spend their time before treading the tracks of Parisian racecourses.
Every Saturday morning at 11am, horse and riding enthusiasts of all ages will be delighted to discover the main training facilities, such as the riding arena and indoor arena, as well as some private areas such as the stables. Why in the morning? Because that's when the center is at its busiest, so you'll be immersed in the hustle and bustle of the place, and can watch the horses train before your very eyes.
Every year, the best trotters come here to fine-tune their preparation for the top-level competitions, which bring together the elite of the discipline, with all generations represented, from 2 to 10 years old. You can also visit the Domaine de Grosbois, home to a listed château and a museum dedicated to the history of trotting.
