Le Golf National, a unique site in Europe with two 18-hole courses, at Guyancourt (78)

The Golf National de Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines, located in Guyancourt, is considered one of Europe's most prestigious golf courses. Conceived in 1991 to house the Centre Technique National de Golf, it has hosted theFrench Open every year since then, the world's oldest major international competition and a must for the world's best players. Three years of work were required to transform the 139-hectare flat terrain into a site comprising two 18-hole courses and a seven-hole school course.

In a superb green setting just a few kilometers from the capital, the world's best players and golf enthusiasts alike can enjoy a weekend on the green at Le Golf National. Of the two 18-hole courses, " l'Albatros " stands out as the one with the highest level of competitiveness and complexity, used during major competitions, including the Ryder Cup in 2018 or the Olympic Games in 2024.

L'Aigle is a course more suited to golfers of all levels, while L'Oiselet is a 9-hole "school" course suitable for beginners. For those wishing to spend a few days in a 100% golfing universe, the Novotel Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines is a four-star hotel located on the estate, with a breathtaking view of these myhtic courses.

To get to the golf course, you can take the Transilien N and U lines or the RER C and get off at Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines, from Montparnasse or La Défense, or get off at Massy Palaiseau, from the RER B, C and T12 tramways, before taking a bus to the entrance.
