The Tour de France 2025 makes its return to France and, as it does every year except 2024 due to the Olympic Games, the final stage closes on theChamps-Elysées avenue. After passes, climbs, descents and crashes, the cyclists will arrive in Paris on Sunday, July 27, 2025 for the 21st and final stage.
On the program? 120 km from Mantes-la-Ville to finish in style on one of the most beautiful avenues in the world, the Champs-Elysées. It's a moment that many are looking forward to, not only the exhausted cyclists, but also those who love this legendary race that has fascinated the French for so many years.
Obviously, traffic restrictions will be in place around the Champs-Elysées perimeter, and the Préfecture de Police is inviting road users to largely avoid the area. Note that from Saturday onwards, parking will be prohibited on the route taken by the runners in the Yvelines département. From 2 p.m. onwards, all parking will be prohibited on the Paris section of the route and on all roads running across the Avenue des Champs-Elysées.
To allow the installation of various equipment and the smooth running of the race finish on the Champs-Elysées circuit, traffic will certainly be prohibited on Sunday from 9.30am to 11pm, within the following perimeter: rue de Presbourg, rue de Tilsit, avenue de Friedland, rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré, rue Saint-Honoré, rue de l'Echelle, rue de Rivol, guichets de Rohan, place du Carrousel, guichets du Carrousel, quai des Tuileries, pont Royal, quai Anatole France, quai d'Orsay, pont des Invalides, place du Canada, rue François 1er, avenue George V, rue Vernet.
The lower part of avenue des Champs Elysées should also be closed to traffic between places de la Concorde and Clemenceau from 9.30 a.m. until the above-mentioned perimeter is in place. In short, to support the cyclists for the final stage in Paris, see you on the avenue!
