Whether you're a cycling fan or just curious, come and watch the riders of the Tour de France 2025 pass through Paris and the Ile-de-France region for the last time! The final stage of this year's Grande Boucle leaves from Mantes-la-Ville on Sunday, July 27, 2025! The race will finish at the end of the day, once again on the Champs-Elysées. But in the meantime, the cyclists will be covering parts of Yvelines and Ile-de-France, and you can come and cheer them on near you!
Since 2018, ASO and the Yvelines departmental council have signed an agreement to host the final stage every year. The town of 21,000 inhabitants had not hosted the riders since stage 5 of the 2004 edition. In 2020, it was the neighboring town of Mantes-la-Jolie that launched the start, on an edition marked by the Covid pandemic. In 2023, Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines and its Vélodrome National hosted the Tour, before an Olympic year in which the last stage was exceptionally held in Nice.
According to Actu Paris, the start is scheduled for mid-afternoon, around 4 or 4:30 p.m., near Parc de la Vallée, before 120 kilometers through the Hauts-de-Seine, Yvelines and Paris departments to the Champs-Elysées. In addition, numerous road closures and restrictions are expected this Sunday, so prefer public transport to avoid congested areas.
