If by some misfortune, you missed the two Swedish sisters of First Aid Kit in March 2018 at La Cigale as well as the Domaine National de Saint-Cloud in late August as part of the Rock En Seine festival, it’s time to catch up since the female duo is back in Paris after this unique date on Monday November 26, 2018 within the beautiful Salle Pleyel concert venue.
Three years after “Stay Gold”, the female Swedish duo of First Aid Kit including the two sisters, Johanna (voice/keys/autoharp) and Klara Söderberg (voice/guitar), revealed a new and fourth album.
Released in January 2018, “Ruins” allowed the girls to hit the European and French roads.
Produced by Tucker Martine (My Morning Jacket, Laura Veiss), the album “Ruins” has been recorded in Portland where the duo worked with exceptional musicians such as REM Peter Buck, WIlcom Glenn Kotche and Midlake McKenzie Smith.
Without surprise, “Ruins” didn’t take long to seduce folk sound and effective titles fans’ and lovers’ ears such as “It’s A Shame”, “Postcard” and even “Fireworks”…
To (re)discover these tunes live, head to Paris Salle Playel on November 26, 2018.
