Good news, folks, because the Americans in The Lumineers are back! Seven years after their self-titled debut, and three years after their second album,"Cleopatra", The Lumineers are due to unveil their new, third album,"III", this autumn. In the form of chapters, this more mature and darker opus is an opportunity for The Lumineers to put together a project that has been on their minds since the beginning.
To keep us waiting, the folk-rock band has released a first single entitled"Gloria":
And a new album means a new tour! In France, The Lumineers will be in Paris for a one-off date at the Zénith de La Villette on Wednesday, November 20, 2019.
The Lumineers have been riding the wave of success since the release of their eponymous debut opus in 2012.
Rhythmically driven by the hit singles"Ho Hey" and"Stubborn Love", this first record enabled Wesley Schultz, vocals and guitar, Jeremiah Fraites, drums, and Neyla Pekarek, cello and vocals, to make a name for themselves on the music scene fairly quickly.
Neyla Pekarek has since left the band (in October 2018) to focus on her solo career. This hasn't stopped Wesley Schultz and Jeremiah Fraites from continuing the musical project. The proof is in their new album,"III", due in stores on September 13, 2019, and their new tour, which will delight the many fans of The Lumineers.
To (re)discover The Lumineers live, head to the Zénith de Paris La Villette this autumn, and don't miss the sale on Wednesday April 10, 2019 at 10am.
