Wilco are coming back on the European roads. In France, four concerts are planned with a first show planned on June 18 in Lille. Next, the American band will stop in Rouen on June 19 and La Rochelle on June 20.
In Paris, you’ll have to be a little bit patient since the band is said to storm the French capital on Sunday September 22, 2019 for one night and one night only at the Trianon.
For the record, Wilco truly exploded on the Ancient Continent thanks to the release of “Yankee Hotel Foxtrot” in 2002.
With two Grammy Awards including best rock album, the opus “A Ghost Is Born” out in 2004 has truly given a place to Wilco they still sit in.
As a sextet for 15 years now thanks to Nels Cline (guitar) and Pat Sansone (guitar, keys), the band keeps on playing solid folk and rock bases. Always evolving, Wilco released in 2016 their latest album called “Schmilco” a tenth album shaped like a collection of wonderful pop songs.
This year, talented Jeff Tweedy and his bandmates are hitting the roads again for our greatest happiness and expect you all in Paris on September 22 for a show you don’t want to miss at the Trianon.
