Good news, dear friends, as the Slam Dunk Festival, described as the UK's #1 alternative festival for pop-punk, emo, punk rock, hardcore and metalcore, returns to France in summer 2024. Join us on Saturday June 22, 2024 at Lyon's Halle Tony Garnier for the all-new French edition of the Slam Dunk Festival.
This year's edition, presented in association with Opus Live and AEG, will feature a top-quality line-up representing the pop-punk and hardcore scenes, just like the English festival. What's on the bill? No less than 8 international bands, all aiming to blow your mind and ears off for a whole evening.
To mark the occasion, the Slam Dunk Festival France will be opening its doors to Sum 41! Do we really need to introduce this legendary Canadian punk rock band, whose hits include"In Too Deep","Fat Lip","Still Waiting","The Hell Song","Pieces","With Me" and"No Reason"? Needless to say, Deryck Whibley and his band are sure to get the crowd going, and create some pretty angry pogos in the pit, especially as the Canadian band are in the middle of their farewell tour!
Joining them at are American ska punk band The Interrupters, Las Vegas-based Palaye Royale, Underoath from Florida, France's Chunk! No Captain Chunk! as well as American metalcore band Atreyu, Welsh band Holding Absence and punk rockers Not Scientists. Don't miss the ticket office opening at 10 a.m. on December 14.
