Four years after their flawless and critically acclaimed “Emperor of Sand”, Mastodon titans are back with a new tour, expected to stop by Paris and especially the Salle Pleyel on Tuesday June 7, 2022. The occasion for bassist and singer Troy Sanders, guitarist and singer Brent Hinds, guitarist Bill Kelliher and drummer and singer Brann Dailor to present their new opus live.
Called “Hushed And Grim” (out on October 29, 2021), this new album is a bold 90-minute project mixing various music styles, from rock to psyche to metal, punk… Produced by David Bottrill (Tool, Rush, Muse, Peter Gabriel), this album is dedicated to the band’s manager memory, Nick John.
With a 20-year career down the belt, Mastodon is famed for their unique mix of rock and metal with sludge, progressive and heavy sounds, with a psychedelic touch. Riffs rain, the earth shakes and the audience calls for more! After 7 studio album, the Atlanta-based band is not ready to stop… To discover or rediscover them live in Paris, meet on June 7, 2022 at the Salle Pleyel and do not forget the presale scheduled this Wednesday September 22 at 11 a.m. (Paris time). The general ticketing service opens on September 23, at 10 a.m. (Paris time).
To top this metal night likely to be one to remember, Planet of Zeus and Bokassa will perform as guests for this show in Paris.
