Used to Parisian venues, Interpol are coming back to the French capital city for a new tour! The New-York band once again expects you on Saturday June 18, 2022 at the Salle Pleyel; a venue Paul Banks and his friends know well already as they took it over in 2018 following the release of “Marauder”.
For their sixth studio album, the early 2000’s staple band from the crazy New-York stage decided to team up with a renown producer, famous for recording with Tame Impala, MGMT, Mogwai, Mercury Rev, Flaming Lips, Spoon… I obviously talk about Dave Fridmann! Without surprise, “Marauder” delighted fans thanks to Paul Banks’ dark voice, Daniel Kessler’s incredible riffs, and Sam Fogarino’s seismic rhythms.
In 2022 in Paris, Interpol are likely to perform live some of their wonderful tracks from “Marauder”, but not only… We hope the American post punk band will also perform a few new songs.
To find out, meet on June 18, 2022 at Paris Salle Pleyel and do not forget tickets go on sale from September 3, 2021 at 11 a.m. (Paris time).
In the meantime, we leave you to it, (re)discovering the “If You Really Love Nothing” single:
