Did you miss the Godfather of punk? You can rejoice, Iggy Pop is back on stage with a dozen exclusive shows in France. From Lyon to Strasbourg, via Marseille, Toulouse, Nantes, Rennes, Lille and Reims… Iggy Pop does not forget to stop by Paris with a unique show scheduled on Sunday May 8, 2022 at the Salle Pleyel.
The occasion for the American artist to present live his latest and magnificent studio album called “Free”. Released in September 2019 and produced by Leorn Thomas, this album gives pride of place to jazz, rock and Afro-jazz influences. Proof of it with “Loves Missing”:
“Free” follows the excellent “Post Pop Depression” produced by Josh Homme from Queens of the Stone Age, and released in 2016. Back then, Iggy Pop even took over the stage of the Grand Rex. For his return on the Parisian stage, Iggy Pop decided to pick the Salle Pleyel, a more intimate venue where the singer will probably sing live a few of his old songs including “Passenger”, “Louie Louie”, and “Monster Men”.
Meet on May 8, 2022 at Paris Salle Pleyel to (re)discover Iggy Pop live. As for tickets, the ticketing service opens from Friday June 11 at 10 a.m. (Paris time).
