Every year in Paris and the Ile-de-France region, festivals spring up like mushrooms when the fine weather arrives. From must-sees like Solidays and Rock en Seine to the latest trends like Lollapalooza and We Love Green... there's something for everyone!
And then there are the newcomers. In 2023, We Love Green and Yard joined forces to create a festival dedicated to popular cultures. Called Yardland, this musical event awaited its first festival-goers in Val-de-Marne on July 1 and 2, 2023.
A host of hip-hop artists were scheduled to perform at the Parc de Choisy in Paris, including American Metro Boomin, French singer-songwriter Tayc, Nigerian singer Ayra Starr and Omah La, not to mention rapper Kaaris, who put on an exclusive show to celebrate the 10th anniversary of his "Or Noir" album. However, due to the riots in the Paris region following the death of Nahel, the very first edition of the Yardland festival had to be cancelled.
This summer, Yardland returns in better shape than ever with an edition to be experienced this time on Saturday July 6 and Sunday July 7, 2024 at theHippodrome de Paris-Vincennes.
Heralded as the " experimental prototype of a future community ", Yardland will celebrate hip-hop and Afro-Caribbean cultures with talented artists including Gunna, Rema, Shay, Kalash, Zamdane, Kerchak, Amaarae and Tif.
Needless to say, this 2024 edition of Yardland is likely to bring a lot of people together this summer at the Hippodrome de Paris-Vincennes. So don't delay - book your tickets here!
So, are you ready to party for two days in the open air at the Hippodrome de Paris-Vincennes? Join us on July 6 and 7, 2024 for the Yardland Festival!
