From September 8 to October 28, 2023, the city of Paris will experience the fervor of the oval ball. Without tickets to the matches at the Stade de France, rugby fans and the curious will nonetheless be able to experience a host of festive events, between match broadcasts at the rugby village, entertainment, and even concert matches, thanks to the Rugby Weekend organized by the Philharmonie de Paris, partner of the Rugby World Cup 2023!
Rugby and music will become one during the competition's quarter-finals. During the matches, the venue invites you to come and enjoy a free large-screen projection, set to music by the Elektra Orchestra. These four knockout matches will feature an exceptional eclectic soundtrack, played live with works borrowed from the classical and contemporary repertoires, cinema and pop. On the program: beautiful play, converted tries and suspense, materialized in music between changes of rhythm and tension.
An unprecedented experience, already tried in 2016 during the Euro, that will make you experience the matches in a different way. And while you're waiting for each match to kick off, bands from the South-West will be recreating the musical and festive atmosphere of rugby stadiums with Au son des bandas, a 50-strong musical group.
Be quick and book Monday October 9 at 12 noon!
