To mark the 60th anniversary of the singer's death and to honor her memory, the Association"Les Amis d'Édith Piaf" is organizing a tribute day. Mark your calendars for this event on Saturday, October 14 , 2023, in the famous Belleville district, where Édith Piaf was born on December 19, 1915.
In addition to a mass at 10:30 a.m. in the Saint-Jean Baptiste de Belleville church, attended by the artist's family and music celebrities, and a wreath-laying ceremony at Édith Piaf's grave in the Père-Lachaise cemetery, a free concert will be held at 11:45 a.m. in front of theSaint-Jean Baptiste de Belleville church. Open to all, the concert will be hosted by Anne-Sophie Guerrier, creator of the " Montmartre en chansons " tour. For this free concert, the singer will be accompanied by her accordionist.
On the following day,Anne-Sophie Guerrier will give a one-window concert as part of the Fête des Vendanges de Montmartre.
