An iconic French singer, Mireille Mathieu has left her mark on the music industry with her unique voice and countless songs, some of which have enjoyed resounding success abroad. In 2025, Mireille Mathieu announces her return to the stage, to celebrate 60 years in the music business, with three exclusive concerts at theOlympia on Friday 24, Saturday 25 and Sunday 26 October 2025.
Born in Avignon in 1946, Mireille Mathieu began her career in the 60s after being discovered in a young talent contest. Her first hit, " Mon credo " in 1966, quickly became a smash, launching her career in France. Other famous songs followed, such as " La Dernière Valse ", " La Paloma adieu ", " Paris en colère ", " Pardonne-moi ce caprice d'enfant ", " Acropolis Adieu " and " Une femme amoureuse ". Her vocal resemblance to Édith Piaf opened the door to an international career, enabling her to sing in several languages, including English, German and Russian, and to perform in many other countries in Europe and beyond.
Her most memorable albums include"La Dernière Valse" (1967),"Mon bel amour d'été" (1969) and"La Paloma adieu" (1973). Her many, many songs have captured the hearts of French and foreign audiences alike. Mireille Mathieu toured the world several times, consolidating her international reputation and taking her to countries as varied as Russia, Japan and the USA.
