While Slimane will be representing France at the next Eurovision Song Contest, young Zoé Clauzure will be going for victory this weekend atJunior Eurovision. This Sunday, November 26, 2023, the town of Nice in the south of France will host the new and 21st edition of Junior Eurovision, following Lissandro 's victory last year in front of 33 million viewers! Thanks to him, and his song " Oh Maman! ", France finds itself hosting the biggest singing competition for children aged 9 to 14 for the second time! The event, presented by Laury Thilleman and Olivier Minne, can be seen live on France 2 from 4pm.
Zoé Clauzure, aged just 13, will have the tough task of representing France this Sunday. Some of you may already know her, as the young artist took part in The Voice Kids season 7 (2020), where she made it all the way to the semi-finals. Zoé Clauzure is no stranger to song. She has already sung with Amir, improvised a duet with Yseult in 2021, opened for Lou at La Cigale, and recorded several singles, including " Dans les nuages ".
In a bid to retain the title in France, Zoé Clauzure will perform the song " Cœur", a track full of pop and pep.
But Zoé Clauzure will have to contend with 15 other competitors, all determined to reach the top step of the podium.
A total of 16 countries will take part in the 2023Junior Eurovision Song Contest, whose theme this year is " Heroes ".
According to the specialist website En Route pour l'Eurovision, 3 countries are among the favorites and represent a real threat to France. They are the Netherlands, Spain and Armenia. The members of En Route pour l'Eurovision have awarded victory, based on the video clips, to the Netherlands, defended by the duo Sep & Jasmijn with their song " Holding On To You ".

After a draw, France will be the 12th to take to the stage at the Palais Nikaïa in Nice this Sunday, just after Portugal and before Albania.
