Two years after the victory of French teenager Valentina, and one year after that of Lissandro, France once again wins the Junior Eurovision contest. Singer Zoé Clauzure, aged just 13 and from Montrouge in the Hauts-de-Seine department, took first place in the 2023 Junior Eurovision contest.
On Sunday November 26, in Nice, in the south of France, the young artist was up against 15 other competitors. But her song " Cœur " seems to have caught the eye of the jury and viewers alike.
Thanks to her dynamic, colorful track, Zoé Clauzure scored a total of 228 points, taking her to the top of the podium! As a reminder, in this competition for young artists aged 9 to 14, victory depends half on votes from the public and half on votes from national juries.

For those less familiar with the competition, Zoé Clauzure first came to public attention when she took part in season 7 of The Voice Kids (2020), where she made it all the way to the semi-finals. The young artist subsequently recorded several singles, including " Dans les nuages ".
On Sunday November 26, Zoé Clauzure reached her goal by winning. Alongside Zoé Clauzure, she beat out Sandra Valero from Spain (201 points) and Yan Girls from Armenia (180 points), considered to be the favorites for this 2023 edition.
The Junior Eurovision contest seems to be going well for France, as the country wins for the third time in just four years. Let's hope that Slimane, the next " adult " Eurovision candidate, follows suit in 2024!
