To mark the opening of its 2024/2025 season, the Orchestre de chambre de Paris has announced two exceptional concerts at the Pantheon. To be experienced on Saturday, September 7, 2024, at 6.30pm and 9pm, these two musical performances are offered as part of the Cultural Olympiad - Paralympic Games.
Conducted by Thomas Hengelbrock, these two exclusive concerts will feature works by Beethoven and Fauré, two composers confronted with deafness. The String Quartet No. 15 in A minor, Op. 132, and the Requiem, Op. 48, will be performed by the Orchestre de chambre de Paris for the occasion.
The Orchestre de chambre de Paris has become one of Europe's leading orchestras in the nearly half-century since it was founded. Proof of its renown, the Orchestre de chambre de Paris regularly gives concerts at the Philharmonie, where it is resident, as well as at the Théâtre des Champs-Élysées, theOpéra Comique, the Théâtre du Châtelet and the Salle Cortot.
This autumn, the musicians of this fine orchestra plan to perform at the Panthéon , playing works by two immense composers, Beethoven and Fauré.
