Attention extreme music lovers! This summer, Kilowatt is hosting an all-new"Metal Session"! Join us on Saturday, July 27, 2024, to groove to the angry sounds of Soulfly, Tagada Jones, Crisix and Akiavel. Please note that Sick of it All was originally scheduled. But the American hardcore punk band has unfortunately cancelled its European tour for health reasons. Crisix, the Spanish thrash metal band, agreed to replace them at short notice!
Needless to say, this"Metal Session " promises to be powerful and exhilarating, so don't delay in booking your tickets for what promises to be an explosive evening at Kilowatt.
Kilowatt is a cultural and festive venue nestled in Vitry-sur-Seine in the Val-de-Marne region of France. Its name refers to the power station in the nearby Ardoines district. Throughout the year, the Kilowatt hosts concerts and convivial evenings. A number of well-known artists are regularly scheduled, including Manu Chao and Groundation.
On July 27, 2024, Kilowatt will celebrate metal music with four of the genre's leading bands, starting with Soulfly. Soulfly, an essential member of the American-Brazilian metal scene, was founded in 1997 by Max Cavalera, co-founder of Sepultura. Soulfly has released a total of 12 albums, the latest of which is"Totem" (2022).
Tagada Jones, the French hardcore punk band, will also be performing on July 27. Renowned for their social conscience and political commitment, Tagada Jones continue to make their fans headbang after a career spanning more than 25 years!
On July 27, 2024, Kilowatt will also welcome Spanish thrash metal band Crisix, as well as French death metal band Akiavel, influenced by the likes of Gojira, Metallica, Trivium and Obituary.
Metal karaoke, DJ sets and Air Guitar competitions are also scheduled for the evening.
