Linkin Park fans are all smiles! At a concert held in Los Angeles on September 5, the American nu metal band announced its reformation around a new singer. Californian artist Emily Armstrong, known as the lead singer of Dead Sara, was chosen by Mike Shinoda and his cohorts to replace Chester Bennington, who passed away in 2017.
To mark the occasion, the American nu metal band has announced the release of a new opus,"From Zero". Expected to hit stores on November 15, 2024, the album has already unveiled " The Emptiness Machine ". The band's first track since 2017, this title is intended to be strong and powerful in the tradition of Linkin Park's previous offerings.
But that's not the only news Linkin Park shared on September 5. The band is hitting the road again! The band has already confirmed dates in Los Angeles, New York, Seoul and Bogota. On the Old Continent, only two dates had been announced: in Hamburg and London, creating a certain frustration among French fans.
But don't worry, Linkin Park will be back in France as part of their reformation. The band is adding a few dates to its world tour, including a concert at Paris La Défense Arena on Sunday, November 3, 2024. And to top it all off, Sleep Token will be opening for the band!
Needless to say, tickets for this one-off Linkin Park concert in Paris are going fast. So don't miss the Live Nation pre-sale available from Thursday September 26 at 10am, or the Paris La Défense Arena pre-sale on September 26 at 1pm. The band has also announced an exclusive"LPU" pre-sale, available from 10am on September 25. The general on-sale date is Friday September 27 at 10am.
In addition to Paris, Linkin Park have also confirmed shows in Dallas, USA and São Paulo, Brazil.
