After shows in Hamburg and London, Linkin Park will be making a stopover in Paris this autumn. The American nu metal band is adding three new dates to its world tour. And the French capital is on the program! This is good news for the band's many French fans, who will be able to discover Linkin Park, freshly reformed, in concert on the Paris La Défense Arena stage on Sunday, November 3, 2024.

A chance to discover several of the band's old hits, as well as a few new ones, performed and played by Mike Shinoda, new singer Emily Armstrong, Dave Farrell aka Phoenix, Joe Hahn, guitarist Alex Feder and drummer Colin Brittain.

And as good news never comes alone, Linkin Park has revealed the name of the special guest who will open the Paris concert. And it's Sleep Token! So, who is this enigmatic band? We'll tell you all about them.

A band hailing from London in the UK, Sleep Token are a veritable musical phenomenon across the Channel! Formed in 2016, the band is made up of masked-faced members whose identities remain unknown. However, the singer and leader calls himself Vessel. The other members are simply nicknamed II (drums), III (bass) and IV (guitar).

Offering a skilful blend of post metal, post-rock, alternative metal and indie pop, Sleep Token released their very first EP"One", in 2016, followed by"Two" in 2017. Today, the British band is at the helm of three studio opuses. There's"Sundowning", out in 2019,"This Place Will Become Your Tomb", released in 2021, and"Take Me Back to Eden" released in 2023. Highlights include the singles " Chokehold ", " The Summoning ", " Granite", " Aqua Regia " and " Vore ".

On November 3, 2024, Sleep Token will take tothe stage of the Paris La Défense Arena for the very first time, opening for Linkin Park. It's a great opportunity for the band to unveil their haunting, dark and powerful universe live. Sleep Token will also be performing live at the LDLC Arena in Lyon-Décines on November 7.
