Kim Wilde announces her return to Paris as part of her " The Closer Tour"! In total, the British artist plans to make stops in 5 French cities, including Marseille, Toulouse, Bordeaux and Rennes. For those who don't know Kim Wilde, we'd like to remind you that she's a world-famous British pop artist, thanks in particular to her hits " Kids in America ", " Cambodia " and " You Came ".
Others know her for her cover of The Supremes' " You Keep Me Hangin' On ", released in 1986. Proof of her fame, Kim Wilde has sold over 30 million records worldwide since the start of her career in the early '80s. She also toured with Michael Jackson on his " Bad " tour, and with David Bowie on his " Greatest Hits " tour in 1990. In 1983, she was named Best British Female Singer at the BPI(British Phonographic Industry) Awards.
After enjoying success and fame in the 80's and 90's, Kim Wilde took a break from touring in 2001. In 2006, the artist released the album"Never Say Never", which took her on a European tour the following year. Over the last few years, Kim Wilde has continued to perform concerts on the Old Continent. In 2022, as part of her " Greatest Hits " tour, the singer performed no less than 60 concerts in 11 different countries.
In January 2025, Kim Wilde returns with the album"Closer", 7 years after"Here Come the Aliens". The album will be followed by a new tour by the British artist, including a performance at theOlympia in Paris on April 21, 2026.
