Sigur Rós in concert at the Salle Pleyel in Paris in September 2025

Many still remember their masterful and memorable orchestral performance at the Philharmonie de Paris during the Days Off festival in July 2023. That summer, Iceland's Sigur Rós truly mesmerized the audience with a deeply moving show, accompanied by the London Contemporary Orchestra.

After a tour of North America and Northern Europe, Sigur Rós continues its world tour, announcing its return to France for the occasion. Mark your calendars: the Nordic trio, now made up of Jónsi, Georg Hólm and Kjartan Sveinsson (following the departure of Orri Páll Dýrason in 2022), will be welcoming fans in Paris and the Ile-de-France region to the Salle Pleyel for two not-to-be-missed concerts on Friday September 26 and Saturday September 27, 2025.

Radical Production has announced that pre-sales will go on sale on Wednesday October 16 at 10am (if you subscribe to our newsletter in advance). Otherwise, the general on-sale date is Friday October 18 at 10am.

For these two exclusive concerts in Paris, the members of Sigur Rós will be accompanied by the Lamoureux orchestra. Since February 2021, this prestigious orchestra has been conducted by Adrien Perruchon. Having previously accompanied the likes of Bernard Lavilliers and Keren Ann, the Orchestre Lamoureux is now joining forces with the talented Icelandic group.

Sigur Rós will take the opportunity to revisit tracks from its latest album, entitled"Átta". Released in June 2023, this 8th studio album follows the excellent"Kveikur" released in 2013, 10 years earlier. A long wait for fans. But it was worth it. Because"Átta" is packed with sublime compositions, such as " Skel ", " Blóðberg " and " Ylur ".
