The summer of 2025 seems a long way off. And yet, it could be here sooner than we think. In the meantime, music festivals are gradually unveiling their 2025 line-ups. We Love Green, Lollapalooza Paris, Rock en Seine, but also Vieilles Charrues, Hellfest, Eurockéennes, Main Square, Francofolies de La Rochelle, Nîmes Festival, Beauregard, Musilac, Garorock or even Les Déferlantes and Cabaret Vert... The summer's biggest festivals have already revealed the first names of their 2025 line-ups. So, who's going to get you up and dancing next summer? We've scoured the line-ups of France's biggest music festivals, and compiled a Top 10 list of the artists and groups scheduled (for the time being) at these festivals in 2025.
For the time being, Lamomali is in the lead! Matthieu Chedid's project will be appearing at some 15 festivals across France, including Francofolies de La Rochelle, Nîmes, Déferlantes Sud de France, Carcassonne, Musilac, Lovely Brive, Beauregard, Main Square, Europavox and Terres du Son, as well as Musicalarue, ODP Talence, Nuits de Saint-Jacques, Son by Toulon and Montauban en scènes.
Julien Doré, who has just added a 4th date in Paris, is also well placed, as he will be performing at a dozen French festivals in summer 2025(Papillons de nuit, Nuit de l'Erdre, Les Francofolies de La Rochelle, Les Déferlantes Sud de France, Carcassonne, Musilac, Main Square, Le Cabaret Vert, Les Vieilles Charrues, Printemps de Pérouges, Aluna Festival, Pause Guitare, Musicalarue...).
Not far behind is Philippe Katerine. The artist, who created a buzz at the opening ceremony of the Paris Olympics, released his new opus"Zouzou" on November 8. The singer will be touring France next summer, playing his songs at numerous festivals(Art Rock, Musilac, Les Eurockéennes, Europavox, Pause Guitare, Les Vieilles Charrues, Musicalarue, Papillons de Nuit, Nuit de l'Erdre, Les Francofolies de La Rochelle, Les Déferlantes...).
Santa is currently the most booked female festival artist for summer 2025. The artist plans to perform at no fewer than 13 festivals next year (Pause guitare, Fête du Bruit à Saint-Nolff, Nîmes, Carcassonne, Musilac, Lovely Brive, Les Nuits Secrètes, Musicalarue, Les Nuits de Saint-Jacques, Fête d'Agen, Super Moustache Festival...).
Clara Luciani is also well positioned. The singer, at the helm of her new and third opus"Mon Sang", will be stopping off at We Love Green, Francofolies de La Rochelle, Musilac, Lovely Brive, Beauregard, Main Square, Eurockéennes de Belfort, Printemps de Bourges and Terres du Son.
Another artist scheduled for multiple festivals in 2025? Jean-Louis Aubert, expected at Printemps de Bourges, Francofolies de La Rochelle, Musilac, Nîmes, Carcassonne, Déferlantes Sud de France, Aluna Festival and Nancy Open Air Festival.
DJ Snake will keep festival-goers dancing at Poupet, Festival de Nîmes, Déferlantes, Garorock, Musilac, Beauregard, Main Square, Eurockéennes and Cabaret Vert.
Rap will also be well represented by Soprano (Musilac, Lovely Brive, Aluna festival, Printemps de Pérouges, Nancy Open Air Festival, Fête du Bruit à Saint-Nolff, Nîmes, Carcassonne) and Damso (Solidays, Garorock, Beauregard, Les Nuits Secrètes, Les Eurockéennes, Terres du son, Les Vieilles Charrues).
Finally, Hoshi will also be taking to the stages of French festivals on numerous occasions in the summer of 2025 (Les Francofolies de La Rochelle, Les Déferlantes, Garorock, Musilac, Lovely Brive, Beauregard...).
But this ranking could well be turned upside down, as most of these festivals have yet to finalize their line-ups, while others have yet to make any big announcements, such as Solidays and Rock en Seine. So stay tuned!
