Fashion meets dance to embroider a unique show entitled"Nuit Dansée et Nuit Romaine" to be discovered from April 26 to 28, 2024. Head for the Palais des Congrès in Paris, to experience a night of unforgettable elegance in the company of the prestigious Ballet de l'Opéra de Rome, dressed by the House of Dior.
"Nuit Dansée" is choreographed by Giorgio Mancini and presented by Eleonora Abbagnato. Dressed in Dior costumes designed by Maria Grazia Chiuri, the dancers will carry the audience away in a whirlwind of grace, to the sound of Philip Glass's Concerto for Piano and Orchestra. A symbiosis of couture and dance that pays homage to the American composer.
In another corner of the Eternal City, "Roman Night" comes to life in the majestic Palazzo Farnese. Star Eleonora Abbagnato embodies the Roman goddess Nox, who traverses the corridors and gardens, awakening the shadows of the many dukes and noblemen who once walked this sacred ground. First unveiled in the form of a dance film, as part of a partnership between Dior and renowned choreographer Angelin Preljocaj, the choreography harmoniously blends gesture and costume. To the music of Franz Schubert, dancers from Teatro dell'Opera di Roma twirl around the goddess, creating a series of enchanting tableaux.
Whether you're a show buff or a fashion enthusiast, don't miss these three magical, fairytale-like nights!
