For the past 5 years, The Voice, TF1's music competition where only the voice counts, has been a real success. Since February 2017, song fans (and future contestants, who knows!) will be able to throw themselves in front of the red jury chairs in a room dedicated to the show at the Musée Grévin.
For the first time, it's not a celebrity but a TV studio that's coming to Gévin! The set of the famous TV show The Voice makes its debut in the museum, following the success of the show hosted by Nikos. Come and sing along in the famous red armchairs. You can imagine yourself as a singer or coach, and decide whether or not to press the famous button. You can even record your voice in a recording booth, a real experience that brings something new to the institution that is the Grévin Paris.
As a reminder, this temple to celebrity boasts no fewer than 300 wax figures presented in a variety of settings, and has been in existence since 1882, when it was founded by Arthur Meyer, a leading journalist and founder of the daily Le Gaulois. The idea at the time? To offer the general public the opportunity to put a face to the personalities in the news at a time when photography was still in its infancy. Every year, the sculptors create four to six people. Last year, Donald Trump, Lionel Messi, Christiano Ronaldo, Kad Merad, Kev Adams and The Voice presenter Nikos Aliagas made their debut.
This setting of The Voice is therefore an opportunity to desacralize this show, which is a real topical success: from February 18, 2017, Zazie, Mika, Florent Pagny and M. Pokora will take us on a journey of discovery of new talent in the 6th season of The Voice.
On Tuesday, February 7, 2017, a privileged few, including Sortiraparis, were lucky enough to attend the inauguration of The Voice Studio, in the presence of Nikos, some of the program's alumni as well as singer Amir in an exceptional showcase. Here are a few images:
