For Museums Night 2019, the Musée Yves Saint-Laurent Paris will present never-seen-before pieces on Saturday May 18, 2019.
In the former studio of the Parisian designer, the Fondation Yves Saint-Laurent offers a focus on the designer’s work. Currently and until late December 2019, tow iconic collections by Yves Saint-Laurent are presented: the Mondrian dresses and the sculpture-jewels by Claude Lalanne.
In the Musée YSL Paris rooms, 50 haute-couture clothes by YSL, accessories, sketches, photographs or video clips showing his life and his legacy. Tuxedo, safari jacket, trench-coat, in the rooms, we get aware of the fights led by Yves Saint-Laurent for women. The tour takes us to the heart of the designer’s creation process.
Enjoy this free tour on Saturday from 7 p.m. to midnight to visit this museum set in the premises of the designer’s former studio.
