Boards to be solidaire 2024: street artists get involved with Secours populaire

Another fourth edition of the "Boards to be solidaire" event. This exhibition-auction, proposed by Secours Populaire Île-de-France and Urban Signature, unveils 126 longboards customized by street artists in aid of Secours Populaire. Calling all street art fans! "Boards to be solidaire", the biennial operation bringing together urban art and solidarity, returns to the capital for a new and 4th edition. To be discovered from Tuesday November 26 to Thursday November 28, 2024, this event once again takes up residence at the historicAgnès b. headquarters, located in the 10th arrondissement of Paris.

The idea behind this event, launched in 2017 on the initiative of EZK and Fred Vedel(Urban Signature)? To organize an exhibition of longboards customized by around a hundred street artists, followed by an auction. The aim is simple: to support the work of Secours Populaire in the Paris region, in particular initiatives in favor of children and the elderly. To give you an idea, the 2022 edition raised 256,800 euros.

At this free exhibition, curious visitors and potential future buyers will be able to discover 126 longboard boards customized and sublimated by numerous French and international street artists, including Seth, Hopare, Vinie, Speedy Graphito, Louyz, Sax, Ami Imaginaire and Toctoc.

This 4th edition of " Boards to be solidaire " is sponsored by street artist Seth. With his fascinating paintings of children from the four corners of the globe, globe-painter Seth has become a key figure on the French street art scene. Today, these children with their often enigmatic faces can be seen not only in Paris, but also in Donbass, Shanghai and Haiti.
