Get to know the woman behind the icon: that's the aim of The Monroe Experience. After the success of this immersive tour in 2023, Galerie Joseph is extending it from July 22 to August 28, 2024, and promises to reveal a whole new facet of the actress, the biggest star in Hollywood history.
Visitors to the site will first discover photographs by Milton Greene, followed by a graphic novel(Marilyn Monroe, Unfinished Confession), an installation with numerous visuals and sound extracts, a virtual reality work and a play adapted from the graphic novel.
This is an opportunity for all fans of Norma Jean Baker, who died in 1962 at the age of 36, to discover little-known aspects of her life, as well as her own intimate writings. This immersive narrative is directed by Stéphanie Sphyras and Benoit Nguyen Tat, in collaboration with Sylvie Lardet, Anseau Delassalle and Ikse Maître. You can also enjoy guided tours by the artists on July 29 and 31 at 11:30 a.m.!
For those who may have already seen it last year, Galerie Joseph has added innovative visual creations to explore the timeless presence of Marilyn Monroe through the prism of artificial intelligence.
