Having recently welcomed Seth, Fluctuart is opening its doors to Nasty for a fine retrospective. Entitled " NASTY, faits & méfaits ", the exhibition, open free of charge from September 13, 2023 to January 28, 2024, looks back over the celebrated French street artist's 35-year career.
It's an opportunity to go back in time to his beginnings in 1988, when Nasty - then aged just 13 - used the street and the metro as learning spaces. The retrospective also looks back at Nasty's rise through institutions and galleries, from Magda Danysz in 1992 to Galerie Hélène Bailly, where he recreated a subway station in 2011.
Through an extensive archive of photos, sketchbooks, clothing, fanzines, tools and relics, visitors are immersed in the colorful world of Nasty and the era in which he grew up. An opportunity to learn even more about this talented urban artist, influenced from the outset by New York graffiti and the hip-hop movement, and whose style is based on bright colors and simple letters.
Come and (re)discover Nasty 's work at this not-to-be-missed retrospective exhibition (1988-2023) from September 13, 2023 to January 28, 2024 at Fluctuart in Paris. And since admission is free, you'd be wrong to miss out!
