While walking in the streets of the 13th district of the capital, you will inevitably come across one of his splendid works. Recently, Seth - whose real name is Julien Malland - denounced the war in Ukraine by drawing on a wall of the street Buot a little girl brandishing a flag with the colors of Ukraine and crushing Russian tanks on its way. Since then, this committed mural has made the rounds of social networks. But Seth had already illustrated himself through many other urban works.
A true globe-painter, Seth is known for his paintings of children immortalized in the four corners of the planet. From the war-torn Donbass to the destroyed neighborhoods of Shanghai, via the schools of Haiti... these drawn children, with their often enigmatic faces, tell of the transformations that are shaking our planet.
From October 28, 2022 to February 26, 2023, Fluctuart is dedicating a retrospective to Seth. Entitled"Empreinte Carbone"(Carbon Footprint), this new and free installation is an opportunity to (re)discover the incredible talent of this French street artist through old works and in situ creations made for the occasion.
For a successful immersion in Seth's rich artistic journey, Fluctuart unveils canvases, photos, travel diaries and, of course, installations of the street artist.
So, are you ready to travel the world with Seth, this unavoidable artist who has been making the urban art scene come alive for twenty years now?
