How about celebrating Halloween at one of the capital's must-see museums? This year, the musée du quai Branly - Jacques Chirac is taking advantage of its new exhibition, entitled " Zombis. La mort n'est pas une fin? " to organize a " Zombis Pop " evening.
Free of charge, but subject to availability, this evening will offer you an exciting program of art, pop culture and fantasy. Join us on Thursday, October 31, 2024 (the day before a public holiday), from 8pm to 1am, to immerse yourself in a special Halloween atmosphere and discover the musée du quai Branly in a whole new light.
What's on the program? The screening of a horror film, along with make-up demonstrations, concerts and DJ sets.
This " Zombis Pop " evening will also be an opportunity to enjoy mini-visits around the " Zombis. La mort n'est pas une fin? ", where pop culture and contemporary art meet.
" Zombies. La mort n'est pas une fin? " is the new exhibition at the musée du quai Branly. On view from October 8, 2024 to February 16, 2025, this installation takes visitors to Haiti, where the zombie myth began. By revealing the fantasies, beliefs and fears associated with the " undead ", the exhibition explores the construction of the myth in the collective Western imagination.
