Disney 100 L'Amitié c'est Merveilleux: our test of the multi-sensory experience at Le Centquatre

100 years is something to celebrate! And Disney won't tell you otherwise, since the company is celebrating its centenary in 2023, with, among other things, an exhibition scheduled to tour the world (we're hoping for a visit to Paris), as well as various festivities within Disneyland Paris, and an immersive experience that should please all Disney fans!

Disney's Wonder of Friendship - as it's called (in French, Disney 100 : L'Amitié c'est Merveilleux) - will offer you, in the CentQuatre from June 30 to July 9, 2023,"1,000 square meters of experiences and installations across four rooms", as our DLP Report colleagues explain in a tweet, but also and above all around four Disney universes: Alice in Wonderland, Lilo & Stitch, The Lion King and Mickey and Friends.

An experience aimed at young adults (those under 18 must be accompanied) that will transport them to"a totally new world around classic Disney stories", as explained in a press release. They are also invited to explore"their own friendships in a playful way, while celebrating Disney's must-have characters".

Head off toAlice in Wonderland's mysterious garden, balance on the shores of Ohana Bay on a surfboard with Lilo & Stitch, plunge into The Lion King 's orchestral Oasis on swings, celebrate friendship with Mickey and friends... These multi-sensory activities bring Disney's stories to life in augmented reality, using Snapchat throughout the experience. This experience also includes light effects and flashes, less sensory sessions adapted for people with disabilities . There's also a pop-up space, so you can take home a souvenir!

Our verdict on Disney 100: l'Amitié c'est Merveilleux at Centquatre :

An experience that the editors were able to try out... And we were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the experience. In terms of immersion, we're right in the Disney universe, from the world of Wonderland to the oasis beyond the desert in The Lion King, via Hawaii to meet Lilo and Stitch... It's all there! The same goes for the entertainment: surfing in Hawaii, swinging to the rhythm ofHakuna Matata, the smell of flowers and a labyrinth in Wonderland... Enough to keep you entertained for a good 45 minutes.

At the entrance, you'll be given a card to scan at the various terminals. At each terminal, you'll be asked a question to help you determine the bonds of friendship between you and your buddies. Because that's the whole point of the experience: to highlight the friendship that unites you and your friends. An experience that can also be enjoyed via Snapchat, with QR codes to be scanned via the app for additional augmented reality animations. A must for all Disney fans!

The experience will be touring Europe, stopping off in London in May 2023, Berlin in June 2023 and Barcelona in September 2023. It's an opportunity to plunge into 100 years of history, and above all into the heart of one of the companies that revolutionized the world of cinema and entertainment. Tickets are now available...
