Calling all lovers of nature and beautiful gardens: Rendez-vous aux Jardins, the annual event celebrating squares, parks and gardens all over France, is back on June 1 and 2, 2024. It's an opportunity to (re)discover the exceptional gardens closest to your home, the large parks of the Île-de-France region, small shared gardens in your neighborhood, botanical spaces... With a wide range of activities on offer: visits, walks, events and creative workshops, you'll be able to spend a wonderful day in the fresh air, and above all, discover the region's most beautiful green spaces in a whole new way!
Located on rue de Crimée, in the 19th arrondissement, theSaint-Serge de Radonège Orthodox Church is unusual for its painted wood architecture and its hidden, almost secretive, location. Originally a German Lutheran church, it was converted into an Orthodox place of worship in 1925: today, you can visit the interior in a spirit of respect for the site, at 8am and 6pm on Sundays.
Around this beautiful edifice, you'll find the Saint-Serge garden, with a little bench where you can rest for a few minutes, read, chat with passers-by... During these Rendez-vous aux Jardins, you'll have the opportunity to visit this hidden garden in the 19th arrondissement!
Free visit of the garden. Inside the church open from 8:00 to 8:15, from 6:00 to 6:15 and Sunday mornings from 10:00 to 12:30.
