Paris is looking very festive for Christmas and the Holidays. Shortly after launching the Champs-Elysées Christmas lights, the Place de la Concorde is sparkling and shining.
Starting from Friday December 4, in the evening, the Obelisk of the Place de la Concorde is lit in blue. It is also surrounded by a forest of green and white fir trees. A light show will adorn the Obelisk with snowfalls. All you need to feel as festive as can be!
But it is not over, since Christmas magic goes on the following week, naming December 11, in the Bastille area and in front of the City Hall. Trees and shows are planned on the Colonne de Juillet like the façade of the city hall.
Please also note lights are to cover the Seine riverbanks, the Avenue Victoria, the rue d’Arcole, and even popular neighborhoods.
These decorations complete the lights already set up in all Paris neighborhoods by associations of storekeepers that have been granted an extra financial help by the Paris city hall.
With the new measures enabling to set up Christmas stands on the streets, it will surely make you want to rediscover Christmas magic in Paris.
