Here's your new canteen in the 9th arrondissement! Le Petit Capucci, just a stone's throw from the department stores, is a small Italian eatery serving ultra-comforting pasta dishes. It's the perfect place to recharge during your lunch break!
Whether it's avery candied tomato sauce with bacon or meatballs, zucchini velouté with Iberian ham, escalope Milanaise or truffle cream with almonds and arugula, the choice of pasta accompaniment is complicated, but we let ourselves be tempted by the truffle cream... and we weren't disappointed!
Once seated at one of the wooden tables on the first floor, we are served a generous plate sprinkled with Parmesan shavings. The arugula is a little in evidence, and we might have expected a more pronounced truffle taste, but we're in for a treat all the same, and for just 9.5 euros, the result is very satisfying!
To finish, we indulge in a bannofee and an all-chocolate dessert, a sweet little touch that rounds off this meal perfectly.
Please note, however, that Le Petit Capucci is very popular. So opt for takeaway, or wait ten minutes or so for a table. Either way,we'll beback, especially when we know that the recipes are regularly renewed!
