Feeling like discovering a new address to spice up your nights? Meet at Mala Club the speakeasy hidden under Sichuan restaurant Atelier Mala in Paris 9th arrondissement, a stone’s throw from Pigalle.

To sip a cocktail, we can go at Mala Club speakeasy. You can even have diner beforehand if you wish at Atelier Mala set just above and providing Sichuan specialties. Meet in Paris 9th arrondissement from Tuesday to Saturday, from 6 p.m. to 2 a.m. to enjoy the muted atmosphere with vaulted stone basement.

Mala Club opened in October 2018 and regularly houses concerts, DJ sets. A beautiful place to party than you can even privatize if you want to.

Here, you can enjoy, wine, beer or soft drinks, but the specialty truly is cocktails. Running the bar, Mika and Ben – former mixologists at Persifleur, Montmartre – they prepare unique creations inspired by China and Sichuan spices.

Moving on to the prices, it’s very reasonable: the glass of wine costs €6 and the cocktail €12. The good deal is to check Mala Club Facebook page before going there, sometimes, they give a password for cocktails at €10 instead of €12.

We are already drooling in front of the Chun-Li Juice based on vodka, apricot shrub and Sichuan spices, sesame oil-toasted cashew nuts syrup and lemon juice, or the Five Nian (rum angostura, homemade Falernum Coco, lime juice, mashed pineapple and vanilla liquor).
Cheers!
