Alain Ducasse's latest creation,Le Spoon, which revives the Spoon in the Palais Brogniard, launches its new brunch. An original, gourmet brunch that combines good food with delicious dishes from around the world.
For the Spoon menu, the chef drew inspiration from his many travels around the world. The result is a cuisine of many flavors and origins, served in a beautiful setting decorated by Jean-Michel Wilmotte. From Asia to Mexico to the Maghreb, the Spoon is sure to awaken your taste buds. And what better way to get a taste of everything than at brunch?
So, what does this new brunch offer? On the program:
All-you-can-eat appetizer buffet:
Plain bao bread
1 dish served at the table (from 4 choices) :
All-you-can-eat dessert buffet
Self-service hot drinks, mineral water and fresh fruit juices throughout the meal
We love the pastéïs and low-sugar gazelle horns, as well as the churros. Special mention for the mushroom soup with its low-cooked egg. If you like steamed ravioli, you'll love these. Just cooked and served in front of you in their steam basket. We also love the tasty fish ceviche, the cod cooked to perfection with its mango tartar, and the fruit salad with the scent of orange blossom.
As for the venue, it's a beautiful space. Eating in the heart of the Palais Brogniard is a real treat. The restaurant boasts a superb outdoor terrace, ideal for relaxing on sunny days in front of a monumental façade.
Inside, different areas open up to us. Despite the size of the space, different nooks and crannies have been arranged so that 2 or 15 people can feel at ease. Moreover, large convivial tables await groups and birthday parties.
We love the warmth created by Wilmotte & Associés, the large zinc counter, the ethnic decor, the bay window overlooking the kitchens and the designer lighting.
In short, we loved this brunch, where quality and quantity really come together. Perfectly cooked, with good products, this brunch deserves its price. You'll just have to try it to be convinced! Don't forget to book.
Please note that it's been over 4 years since our last visit, so the place and experience may have changed.
