The pastry chef Nicolas Paciello, who recently opened his own pastry shop, named CinqSens, has decided to please you, during this terrible recession which cuts us off from many sweets.
That's right, Chef Paciello unveils today the recipe of his famous banana cake, which will melt the heart and taste buds of all the gourmands. It's up to you!

Recipe of the banana cake of Nicolas Paciello
Ingredients :
2 bananas (160gr peeled)
20gr grape seed oil (or olive oil)
60gr of sugar
10gr muscovado (or sugar)
100gr flour
4gr baking powder
40gr butter (melted)
1 egg (50gr)
1 lime peel
Preparation:
Cook the whole bananas for 20 min at 200 °C.
Peel and mash with a fork, add oil.
Mix the sugars with the zest then add the egg. Whisk well.
Mix the flour with the yeast and add to the first mixture. Add the melted butter. Add the banana compote.
Pour the dough into a buttered and lightly floured mold.
Place banana slices on top. Sprinkle with sugar.
Bake for 40 minutes at 150C°.
Make a syrup with lemon juice, rum and sugar.
Brush the cake at the exit of the oven.
