A confidential coffee shop tucked away in the hidden, leafy garden of the Maison de Balzac, here's something to tempt us. With its all-organic, homemade menu, luminous setting overlooking a relaxing garden and Eiffel Tower view, it's hard not to be seduced.

We're off to Passy in the 16th arrondissement to discover the Maison de Balzac, a house that has now been transformed into a museum and was once the home of Honoré de Balzac for 7 years, where the Comédie Humaine was born.

Before or after your visit, or even without a visit, don't forget to stop off at Rose Bakery, a café-tea room that feels like a country house, and which has already delighted us at the Musée de la Vie Romantique.

Resolutely modern, the place combines large light-wood tables, white walls and large picture windows, with a counter displaying the sweets to be discovered.

You can sit inside when the weather's not so good, on the wooden garden tables, or on a deckchair or a garden chair with its own tray. It's up to you to make the most of this relaxing setting and the beautiful view of the Eiffel Tower.
