A few months after his first ephemeral restaurant, Court-Bouillon, chef Jean Covillault, revealed to the public on Top Chef, is opening a new ephemeral table in Paris for the summer months. From June 4, 2024, he'll be heading for La Belle Tablée on the barge La Terrasse Notre-Dame - L'Équité, moored on the banks of the Seine, a stone's throw from Notre-Dame de Paris.
In the spirit of the guinguette, the young chef will be delighting gourmets from now until mid-July, with banquet-style cuisine where large tables of friends are welcome. On the menu, family-style dishes to share. Starters include planks of French charcuterie and seasonal vegetables, followed by grilled meat dishes or vegetarian versions (halloumi-mushrooms) accompanied by salads to ease the conscience.
Dinners continue with a cheese platter to share and a varied dessert cart, featuring peach-almond financier, Breton shortbread and strawberry tart, chocolate cake and seasonal fruit salad. As for beverages, the chef has included a selection of beers, light rosés and non-alcoholic drinks for those who don't want to overindulge!
All this while enjoying the sunsets over the Seine, facing Notre-Dame!
