The Last of Us season 2: Glazed launches an ice cream with Cordyceps mushrooms!

Glazed 's creativity knows no bounds. After announcing the return of its now-famous marrow bone ice cream, accompanied this year by other novelties (a black pudding ice cream, among others!), now the ice cream maker is taking advantage of the release of season 2 of The Last of Us series, on April 13, 2025, to unveil an ice cream... with Cordyceps mushrooms!

If you're not familiar with the series (or the video game from which it's based), then Cordyceps mushrooms probably don't mean much to you. For fans of the HBO phenomenon, on the other hand, this is a bold and incongruous experiment, as this fungal species known for its adaptogenic properties is an integral part of The Last of Us lore.

This original, post-apocalyptic creation, called 'You Can't Stop This', blends the umami subtlety of Cordyceps mushrooms with a gourmet, balanced touch of white miso and vanilla. This (very) limited-edition ice cream is available while stocks last, from April 11, 2025, in the capital's three Glazed ice cream parlors.
