Located in a quiet corner of the 16th arrondissement, La Rotonde de la Muette is the ideal spot to relax over breakfast with friends or a client. Recently renovated a year ago, this brasserie has retained its cachet while adding a touch of modernity.
The result is a place that's both chic and cosy. Comfortable leather seating, lounging benches, wood panelling and modern, refined lighting create a discreet, welcoming setting.
Breakfast is served from 7am to 11:30am. Expect to pay €18 for a full meal, including a hot drink of your choice, a home-pressed juice, fresh bread or pastries (croissant or pain au chocolat) and organic eggs (served scrambled, as an ommelette or fried, depending on your mood), unless you prefer 0% fromage blanc with a red fruit coulis or honey.
But you're free to compose your own breakfast à la carte, with Catherine Kluger's delicious granola, for example. Take the Breakfast Bowl, for example, which combines granola, strawberries and kiwi, acacia honey and 0% white cheese.
In short, here's an ideal spot to get the day off to a good start with the meal they say is the most important.
