Disneyland is set to delight food lovers from April 7 to June 7, 2018. For its new season, Disneyland is offering a "gourmet" collaboration with Jean Imbert.
The challenge? Reproduce famous dishes from Disney films... and yes! the chef has come up with the famous spaghetti dish from Beauty and the Tramp (reinterpreted with veal and blond d'Aquitaine meatballs, the best meatballs we've ever eaten), Rémy's Ratatouille, with organic vegetables from open fields, Mulan's rice, a sublimely seasoned delight and Sleeping Beauty 's Cake!
For the 12-course "Petit Jean" menu, the chef has drawn on his childhood memories to create a unique menu with 12 original recipes. And for these tasty recipes, Jean Imbert seeks out local produce and committed suppliers... to bring out the flavors!
And while the winner of Season 3 of Top Chef does well with desserts, Jean Imbert has called on the world's best pastry chef, Cédric Grolet himself, to impress us with "Snow White's Poisoned Apple", a trompe l'oeil apple that already has our mouths watering...
This 12-course Petit Jean menu(with 5 glasses of beverages, wine and champagne) is a real eye-opener. Even the menu is fun, a set of 12 cards to keep as a souvenir! Served twice daily (at 6.30pm and 9pm) at theDisneyland Hotel restaurant, this menu is unfortunately not for everyone. Expect to pay €150 for dinner (€36 for children), a rather high but fair price for a Disneyland Hotel restaurant!
Please note that it's been over 4 years since our last visit, so the place and experience may have changed.
