Belleval is a living space in the 8th arrondissement, designed by Jean-Philippe Nuel around the theme of plants. Restaurant, hotel and patio, Belleval is open to the city from morning to night, with the promise of welcoming Parisians with arms wide open.
Its restaurant faces the street, in a semi-indus/semi-romantic setting with flowers everywhere! At Le Belleval, the food is healthy and seasonal. There's no fuss, and the à la carte menu features a dozen dishes to suit all appetites.
An oeuf cocotte with a duo of pan-fried cabbages, a chicken supreme with julienne vegetables, a vegetable crumble, not forgettingavocado toast, Poké Bowl and the dish of the day, the dishes are hearty, tasty and affordable for the neighborhood!
9€ foravocado toast (with Poilâne bread, avocado, gravlax salmon, poppy seeds, quinoa, chives, mint and lemon), 14€ for poké bowl (citrus-marinated salmon, spinach shoots, wild rice, avocado, pink radish, carrots and white asparagus) and 14€ for chicken supreme, it's decent value for the neighborhood, especially when you know that the chef is Edgard Prince, previously in charge of organic and gluten-free restaurant My Free Kitchen!
And as the neighborhood is always alive, you can enjoy cheese and charcuterie boards, or Madeleines Belleval (sweet or savory versions), at any time of day. The chef also offers desserts such as mousse deux chocos, tarte au citron meringuée and cocotte de fruits.
Please note that it's been over 4 years since our last visit, so the place and experience may have changed.
